Recommendations?
for front....have to be OEM? KYB? Monroe? Aftermarket?

Appreciate your thoughts. Also realize an alignment is needed after install. Thanks.

since you have SH-AWD, the car is heavier and you have different springs/shocks than the FWD model. Most aftermarket are one size fits all for FWD and AWD so I don't recommend them. I tried the Koni FSD for accord on my FWD TL (Koni says the should fit and work) and they were WAY to soft because the accord is lighter than the TL with the front of the car not being happy, SH-AWD would be worse.

I ended up installing SH-AWD assemblies which are firmer than FWD and handle a bit better.

OEM struts are 190 each plus shipping and tax for SH-AWD.

My TL is FWD.
don't want to spend OEM unless they are radically superior to KYB or Monroe.

KYB and monroe should be fine, don't waste money on FCS.

KYB > Monroe in my humble opinion. I would not consider monroes for my cars

I put KYB struts on the front for my 05 RL. No major complaints. I like that they are made in Japan.

Was searching KYB and the whole set of 4 assemblies is quite expensive. Yikes!
what about aftermarket online or parts geek (screen shot below)? Ebay too.
my thing is- if I get all replaced I want a noticeable ride improvement. I am not in an immediate need, although sometimes the ride is a little bouncy and loud when going over a bump. Thinking a mid to late 2026 initiative. But again, I want to be sure it's worth the investment. I'm sure KYB would be a noticeable difference but....

I've never heard of that brand. Remember you get what you pay for with aftermarket parts. Consider the additional cost of a higher-quality part vs the cost of redoing the job when the cheap part fails.

I had KYB excel-G struts before installing my BC kit and would definitely recommend them. Also agree with thoiboi that Monroe is trash these days.
