So here is the story. I have a black on black 2009 TL w/ Tech Package. I already put 40% Llumar ceramic tints on all around. Here is what I am thinking about doing:

Paint Grille: "Beak" in gloss black & the surround in Matte Black
JnC Headlights: Matte black with gloss black ridges leaving reflector in
JnC Tails: Matte Black
Paint Silver on Trunk: Matte Black
Paint All Emblems: Matte Black
Powder Coat Stock Rims: Semi Gloss Black "egg shell" with gloss black caps and matte black "A" in cap
Cover all Chrome trim: Matte black vinyl on roof trim & window trim

I tried to find a car that was done this way in the pictures section & I think I would be a first. What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

I also think the Black Chrome Emblems could be a cool alternative to the matte black emblems.

So you would do all gloss black? or don't paint anything? After looking at some pics on my lexus forum, I am leaning towards a satin black instead of the matte. It just looks too Camryesque with the all black grille IMHO.

No flat black. It just won't look right. As for the emblems, I would just remove them alltogether.

I agree with Potmilkz, I'd suggest the gloss black.
