Cleaning the grille

For those who kept the chrome grille, how do you keep it clean with all the splattered bugs and dirt?

Thanks!

Sounds good!

You know, my ex-mother in law recommended using windex on sinks (in the kitchen) to make stuff very bright and shiny, any idea if it's a good trick for this chrome grille?

i use a terry cloth and aerosol glass cleaner...it takes the water spots off and shines it quite nicely...also use it for the trunk lid.

A nice coat of carnauba wax after cleaning with soap/water does the trick for me.

You know it's not really chrome, right? ....it's just painted plastic. Anyways, I use Meguir's detail spray....works great. It helps a lot, though, that my grill has a clear bra on it.

Yeah, I went to clean it and it seemed evident it was plastic, the overall feel isn't very chrome-like.

Thanks for the tips!

it is not chrome! Use regular car washing soap, not dawn or anything not meant for cars.
