I don't like the front end! To put it in prospective and visualize it, they went from the Superman logo grill design to the Battman joker's mouth grill design. And the worst part, they did that to all of their car lineup! Hideous ....

So the back end looks like a Saturn Aura and the front looks even worse with that shovel style grill. Fogs on the front bumper don't integrate nicely, big red reflectors on rear looks chessy and I can think of so many other reasons why this car is and will be a disaster!! I'm so happy I got my 08 Type S (last 6 spd manual too) =) Well I guess the wife is not buying an acura next year for her new car!!

Sorry to chime back in, but as an "early adopter" of the 3G TL (which I found to be very good looking and a bargain at <$35k w/ navi and $440/mo on a lease), I will replace my GT-R (when I sell it) with an Infiniti G37 sedan.

The Acura design pushed me away. The crazy prices sealed the deal.

Im sorry but the interior is great looking while the outside looks like someting out of startrek. Its terrible, some of their cars are looking bad with the high line for the bend on the side sheet metal almost looking flat and then sharp sloping grilles and lights and that hideous plastic grill looks like something on a kids toy. I wish the older models came in all wheel drive.

seee i have no problem with that grille (it is the same on the tsx and rl) and now this csx nonsense. it looks fine on all three of those because it is in line with the headlights.. the tsx is a very sharp car. however when the designers came to the tl they decided to put a few extra inches on the top. i believe the only reason why they did this is because our tl's now have the extra little lip ontop too, but i did not even notice that until right now loooking at my other pc's desktop background lol! it seems as if adding that extra top part was another little thinkg that they kept the same to distinguish the generation, but not the type of car.

Man i love the new TL i dont see what there is to complain about. Also, someone on here said it wasnt going to be keyless or push button ignition start. and it is! lol. I really one now damnit. lol

That my friend is an Acura Civic. I live in New York and frequently venture upstate enough to where I see the Canadians coming down or going back up the New York State Thruway. In Canada the Honda Civic is an Acura Civic, not a rebadged Civic (Canadians please correct me if I am wrong).

Canadians have the Honda Civic, but they also have the Acura CSX (basically a rebadged Civic with small exterior and interior differences).

I think the new TL has been improved in all ways. I love the new exterior and the interior which is very luxurious and technologically advanced that no other can match. Acura has been the industry first on so many things and now they have the live doppler for weather.

In this pic, the 04 looks very similar to 03.

Your right . No other acure can match the Tl. Every other car beats it in it class as far as advancement. In fairness though, the car does look better in person

It's hard to lower the middle rear seat headrest, you have to contort your finger from the back of the headrest to press the button.

I have more pictures, and in bigger resolution, if needed.

Actually, in person it's not that bad. I am waiting for the SHAWD to test drive one, and then waiting for the 6 speed manual SHAWD to arrive to seriously considering buying one.

Not True Dual Exhaust. Just went to Acura Peoria unveiling of the TL and its the same exhaust as the previous model.[IMG][/IMG]

Have a six pack then the TL will start looking better. Even the NSX didn't have a true dual exhaust... can't do it with the way the engine is facing which is done to make it cheaper to build.

They could but it would probably cost more. I had my 04 spec'd our for a true dual, but decided against it due to how much TQ i would lose by having it. But with more displacement in the 09 I would have thought they would do it.

Oh well.........maybe the 2011 V8 or V10 RL will have it.
