Did you install your coilover kit yourself?

im debating whether i should install my coilover kit myself or take it to a local shop.

Many have. It's not that hard and there are good DIY's on the site.

Otherwise, figure 4-hours shop time, at ~$60 per hour.

Should be too hard and shouldn't take that long to do, i did my teins last week.

do it yourself its not really that difficult. you will save yourself quite a bit of money too

I was quoted $120 for all four springs installed. Would you say thats a steal ( i told him that il take the back seats though, which is pretty easy coz ive done it before)?

Pretty easy to do. Cakewalk with airtools.

For Springs? Yes, that's a steal, since they have to remove the stock spring and replace 'em with the after-market.

Even for coil-overs, that's a very good price, IMHO.

I did my front today thats all i had time for after work...WAY easyier then i thought.. Im a aviation mech so im tool savey..but super paranoid and anal about workin on my car..and glad i sacked up and did it my self..Thursday im doing the rear so maybe thatll be a differant story i dont know..Im goin DYI from here on out. Plus u learn about ur car more and have more pride in it....Plusss all the chaching u save!

I feel i could have done it myself but deff went smooth with my buddy helpin

be a man and DIY.

invite a friend that has installed suspension on any year model honda between 1985 and 2008 and you're good. the TL rides on standard issue honda wishbone/multi-link. the hardest part for me was re-installing the bolt holding the lower rear seat cushion...
