Bubble

I have a bubble in my Michelin Pilot Aplin's! It's a pretty bad one too. I am pretty sure that it is my fault since a hit this huge pothole on Wednesday. the thing is that I didn't notice the buble until today. Is that possible? That I hit the pot hole on Wednesday and the bubble not appearing until today? Anyway, the dealer said he will replace them ASAP as it is now considered a road hazard.

I will post some pics but you guys can't make fun of my dirty car, it's just been too damn cold

there is a large "bubble" on the sidewall I will take some pics tonight and post them for you (don't know how else to explain it).

Micelin is saying that they have no 205 50 17 Pilot Alpin's left in Canada! My dealer is searching for the tire through other means and will let me know by tomorrow. If they can't get it they said they will trade my Pilot Alpi's for a set of Blizzak LM-22's in the same size. Does this sound like a good deal or a rip off?

How big of a problem is that? Or is it just a cosmetic thing? If its a problem then I think that's a pretty good deal, after I replace the tires, then i'd clean your rims

well usually they can be driven on but you should try to stay off of them. The problem with mine is that it is actually pulling the tire away from the rim (I don't think you can tell from the picture). The pictures were taken while the car has been parked for about 2 days in - 20 degree celcius temperatures so you can imaging how big the bubble get one driven on (heated).

In my opinion they are not safe to drive on, the bubble makes the rubber thinner from stretching and like mine, it starts to pull the tire off of the rim.
