19" Wheels Input

I am going to put my 19" wheels soon, probably next week.

My rims size are 19x8 with either 45 or 48 offset.

Do I STILL need to cut the plastic after I roll the fender? Or rolling the fender is enough? Please let me know...Thanks

higher the offset the less chance of rubbing. i have a 51 offset on 19x7.5 and dont rub at all even tho im lowered with 5 people in the car. if you can get a 7.5 in rim get that, you dont need a 8 inch cause you cant fit a 245 tire on the tl anyways with a 18inch rim. 7.5 is perfect fit for 235.

Valuetl,

I am getting Yokohama AVS sport for my tires 235/35

I'll back for good in March to my home country. I will sell all my TL-S's accessories around February. You can buy mine if you want, since I am probably will use the rims for 2 months.

Check www.wheeloptions.com to see the wheels I got....

I'm probably going with a 19" version of the 18's I have now which are Altstadt 1 also from Japan. Did they tell you what offset your going to run. How about tires??? Did you go with tires from Japan also? I'm looking at SO3's very closely.

I guess my offset either 45 or 48.

I buy the tires in US.

What do you think of the rims....I will let you know if these wheels give any problems....but I hope it is not....

My concern would be running a 45MM offset and 235 width tires. As you know using WS coils there isn't much space out back. I was worried using 47MM. Hope you end up with 48MM.

2K2 TL-S

I will put 19x8 all around, 235/35, offset at least 45, maybe lowered my Apexi up to 3"-3.5". Let me know whether I still need to cut that plastic after roll me fender.

UWTL,

I will have Apexi Coilover, Comptech Header,Exhaust, AEM CAI, 6000K fog lights, 6000K Upgrade Bulbs for OEM HID, and 19" wheels. Let me know if you are interested. Send me a PM the end of JAnuary.
