Wind shield water leak.

I noticed the other day that water was dripping through my passenger a pillar. I automatically figured my sun roof drains where clogged. I tested all of them and the water flowed through fine. I then proceeded to lower my headliner to inspect where the passenger side sunroof drain meets the car. It was fine. I then poured water on the passenger side of the windshield and noticed water dripping into the car. As a temporary fix, I sealed the wind shield with silicone on the inside and out. My windshield has never been replaced and I would like to keep it that way. Has this happened to any one else? If so what action did you take.

Sounds like your windshield needs to be resealed.

yes, this just happend to me. My windshield needed to be resealed.
Make sure no water dripped down the a-pillar onto electronics, wiring, or connectors.
pull out passenger kick panel and inspect.

Try this.
From inside your vehicle use the tips of your finger to push the glass to see if there is any movement. Push it where the glass meets the A-Pillar.
there should be no movement. it should be solid.

*edit: just occurred to me that my seal was really messed up. If you have just a corner where its leaking from the windshield may not flex when pushing up on it.

The temporary window seal will work but not for long.

My temporary seal did not work. Is resealing the windshield possible without removing the windshield. I only ask because if it needs to be removed, I was told that theres a good chance that it will crack. I really dont feel like buying a new windshield.
