Question Weird grinding/moaning sound while coming to stop and accelerating (intermittingly)

This is the weirdest problem I've had yet, but there's a deep, grinding and/or moaning type weird sound that seems to match the wheel's spin. I thought maybe transmission, but it does it even when remaining in first gear if moving. The weirdest part is that it can sound REALLY BAD, then after driving for a few minutes completely goes away.

Any thoughts? Transmission, CAT, axle, ....there's not enough consistency in what I'm observing for me to have any reasonable ideas. Thanks...

My initial guess would be failing wheel bearing. Not easy to figure out which one until your find a repeatable pattern.

I would check axles. Maybe a failing CV joint. Check the boots to see if maybe it's cracked/leaking
