All right, there is this annoying hissing/whistling sound that happens at 2000-2500 RPM. It happens only when I step on the throttle. It goes away at higher RPMS.

Before it happened around 2500RPM, my friend who is a mechanic for Acura intially thought it was the heat shield and he changed it but that wasn't the culprit. The sound happens at 2000-2500 RPM now.

Any idea what can be causing this? I don't know if it's minor or major because I don't know the cause. But I would like to find the root cause of this noise before anything bad happens. Right now it's just the sound that bugs me.

Any insight would be appreciated.
