VTEC actuator motor cap. so simple yet so hard to find replacement!

Upon doing a valve cover gasket change and valve adjustment, I noticed a crack on a cap on the vtech actuator that goes on the intake manifold right right next to the power steering pump. I took it off to take a look and it was so brittle it basically crumbled off. It was just a little gray plastic or rubber (that turn hard and brittle like plastic) cap that covered the white part where my thumb is pointed. I dont know how important it is or what will happen if I drive with it like this for a long time so I want to replace it with some sort of similar sized cover. The little cover is not sold individually and a whole new actuator costs over 200 dollars. Im not down for that since all what is wrong with it is a missing little rubber cap. Iv walked around oreily's, autozone, and even home depot just to find something to cover it and have had not luck. I have found that I needs to be 14mm or 9/16th inch in diameter. Does anyone have any kind of suggestion on what to replace it with or what its even for or how important it is to replace. I have here a picture of mine followed by the best pic i can find on google. here is mine
the gray cap missing is the only issue

That's not vtec. It's for the intake manifold runners butterfly. You can get a cheap one for 20 bucks off eBay

ebay or car-parts.com for cheap, you don't have to buy a brand new one.
