TPS reading on scanner

So to preface this i have used two different scanners on two different cars that have a j series throttle body.

My 04 acura tl on live data on my obd scanner reads about 78.8% tps at wot, i tested it on an accord running another j throttle body and it reads the same, checked another scanner on the cars and it reads the same.

So at this point I'm confused, i took off the air intake, turned the key forward and checked if the physical throttle plate is opening when i floor the pedal and it does open fully.

I have seen a few threads where others have reported only 78.8% tps as well but the threads don't go far enough to where anything gives a resolution or a reason. Is this something to even be concerned about? I'm not exactly having an issue that i could say is caused by this more less I'm just testing things and tinkering around trying to make sure my car is up to shape. So if anyone has any insight on this that would be great, thank you. If any further info is needed to understand the situation please don't hesitate to ask.

What is there to understand? The throttle body is at 100%...it can't go any further. The TPS itself is only reading 78.8% in theory because it just isn't being used to its physical limit. They do not need to line up 1:1 on percentages as long as the software mapping takes care of things.

Uhh just wasn't understanding why the reading was different, figured the tps reading should match up to how much the throttle plate opens. I gotcha though, thanks.
