Is the throttle body on the 2.3cl the same as the throttle body on a 2.2 accord. I am trying to get a throttle body spacer but I can only find it for the 2.2 accord. Thanks for the help.

it separates the engine from the intake so the intake wont heat up as much thus making cooler air for the engine.

 

I just want it because my friends have it on their rides and it makes this sick blowing/whistling noise really don't think it adds any power to the car like it says it does.

 

just loosen one of your Tb bolts. it will have a nice whistle. :bubbarubb

 

Do you know if it will make the whistle with the throttle body spacer. Will it be bad for the engine to do that to the TB.

 

throttle body spacers usually move the cai farther away and also are supposed to make the air swirl and somehow get more air into the combustion chambers

dustbuster has the helix power tower do a search for that and you'll get his opinion on it.

 

So no one knows if it makes any sort of noise on the CL?

 

dajuice had one too until he sold it and got the jeep cherekee... helix power tower supposed to increase ur hp.

 

supusto make a little power down low, i liked mine it made the car seem less slugish when the ac was on

i thinkn it was dynoed by someone on a diff fourm and they got like 5 whp
