If you have a Mugen Body Kit

This is probably useless to ask but....

is anyone willing to lend a mugen body kit from the 05-08 model year RL to be scanned so another can be fabricated? Your original mugen kit will not be damaged or molded in any way, just scanned by a big computer! I am also working on making it so that you get a compensation for your troubles.

There has to be some form of copyright infringement with this plan.

I'm one of the few with the kit but I wouldn't let anyone "borrow" it. My first thought is what 007 commented. Since polyurethane is so flexible the paint would be destroyed in shipment. It would be a lose-lose situation for me. The compensation for my troubles would be too large on your part.

OP, check out this mashup. Max took an 2010 S65 lip and molded it to the top of an RL bumper. There is no reason a similar thing can't be done with practically any lip and then scanned. At least at that point, you have created a unique design, and you aren't blatantly stealing someone else's.

There are a lot of people doing this. There are a couple local here who will do it and have been doing it. Its just hard to find a donar. In Japan the M1 edition kit has been fabricated but they are asking too much for it.
