So I’m getting idle issues with my 06 tsx and I’ve figured it has to be the throttle body. I’ve been looking at some intake manifolds and throttle bodies online. My question is would the car function normally if I was to upgrade to a bigger tb and maybe an aftermarket intake or would it need to be tuned or reflashed for it to run normal? It’s a DBW tb if that info helps.

 

it would run and it would run properly, however, to get the most potential out of it...you would need to optimize the ecu by tuning the ecu for the extra air.
but yeah, you can run a larger throttle body with no ill effects, may even gain a few ponies....it's only when you want to take FULL advantage of the larger throttle body is when you would want to tune
