TPMS gone kaput!

This happened tonight after work. The whole system has "flatlined", so to speak. When I hit the button it shows the pressure for all tires as a blank space. Before that, there was a yellow warning about the TPMS malfunction.

I will try to take it in tomorrow. I have an 07 TL-S. Anyone else had this happen?

I've had my TL-S since May.. nothing yet, although from time to time, it will read a very high psi for any random tire. Last time, my driver front read 68. Before that the driver rear was around 54. After a couple of seconds, it will go back to the normal reading. Keep us in the loop as far as what the dealer says.

On another note, I was wondering if anyone else's TPMS is giving consistently wrong readings. I have 4 different tire gauges, all of them which registered 35 PSI. However, on the TPMS, it reads 38.

I realized that I caused the TPMS problem. I used a tire fix kit which is a no-no for cars with pressure sensors. At the time, I did not realize the sensor is actually in that little air valve.

you mean a fix-a-flat? Because I used it once I didn't have a problem until I took it to the tire store to get the tire patched up. Now I am having the same problem as you.

Fix a flat might kill a wheel sensor, but should not kill the ENTIRE montitoring system...

Really? They told me at the dealer that the failure was due to me using the fix-a-flat, or perhaps due to Pep Boys doing the real tire repair afterwards. It was just one tire, so yes, I was a bit confused as to how the whole system would go out because of one tire sensor.

Is it being fixed by the dealer? If you could, please let me know about what they say the cause was. It does seem weird that one tire sensor going out could break the entire monitoring system.
