how do you set it? on like 65 degrees auto or just on full fan with A/C on?

Try using auto at 65 degrees and make sure that all the vents are set to be on. I have an 07 Type-S and my AC works great. However, I think the AC runs colder as you lower the temperature on auto (as you'd expect).

Thanks, ima have to go into servicing anyway for some other stuff... i'll bring it up in case. If they do something i'll be sure to let everyone know in case it can help someone at a later time... if anyone thinks of anything else don't be afraid to post lol

06 TL 6spd. Navi/A-spec
The a/c runs the coldest at lower fan speeds and with the recirculation button on. Dont forget it is summer time it may take a little longer to cool, especially if the car is sitting out in the sun for a while!

FWIW. Mine cools fine. TL-S.
I do the same as you - lower the temp, turn up the fan and blow it out the vents. Cools off pretty quickly - at least as fast as any of our other cars.

The A/C works great on my regular '05 TL-- I just hit "auto" and let it work, even on 100-degree days in SoCal.
However, there were a couple of threads here in late '05-early '06 about the A/C ducts acting like heat sinks in hot climates during the summer in places like Tucson and Phoenix if the car is left out in the open for several hours, thus slowing the cooling process.

What color is your car and where do you live? If my black car is kept in the garage (same temp but out of the sun) it seems to blow cold air instantly. If I leave it out in the Vegas/Phoenix heat and it's 130 degrees inside the car with the sun blasting the dash, it takes 15 minutes to get cold. I think the massive dash acts like a big heat sink that heats the air before it gets to the vents.
Yesterday driving from Vegas to Bakersfield, I had to turn the ac down because I was getting too cold and it was 111 degrees outside. The car was in the garage the night before.

It's been 90-100 degrees almost every day for a while in CT, and I have to turn the A/C temp up because it actually gets too cold after a few minutes. Maybe something is wrong with yours. Try clsoing the vents to the rear seat for better airflow up front if no one is back there.
