AC takes a long time to cool off

Hi, I have a quick question about how the AC performs for others in very warm weather states. My wife's 2006 TL is taking quite a while to cool down when she starts it after work if the temperature is higher than around 90 degrees F. Even if she puts it on recirculation, it takes more than 10 minutes before it feels decently cool. Seems like it was fine last summer, cooling off very well in under a minute or two. Can anyone confirm that this is abnormal?

I'll take the car to the dealer for repair under warranty, but I don't want them to blow me off and say they all do that.

Thanks,

Russ

I live in Tucson, and my 06 blows cold air within a minute or so. Definately not 10. Most likely a leak in the AC refrigerant system somewhere. Don't let the dealer get away with just adding refrigerant.
