Have you checked your tire pressures? a TPMS error usually means one (or more) of them is low.

it's actually "tpms system error". when i check the tire pressure reading on the mid display before the error pops up the right front tire is showing 58 psi and the rest were 32. i had new left front tire replaced a month ago due to poor alignement. maybe the dealership over inflated the tire? i'm gonna check the pressure manually and see 58 psi is the real reading.

manually check the tire pressure. TPMS is fairly accurate so I would guess you have a tire pressure issue...

ok i manually checked the tire pressure and the right front tire is 31 psi, not 58 shown in the MID display. so does this mean i need to replace the tire pressure sensor for that one tire? thanks

It's inside the tire, on the part of the valve stem that you can't see. The tire has to be taken off to get at it, so you'll have to take it in.

Maybe the installer damaged the in wheel sensor. Did this error message start right after the tire replacement?

What year is your TL? It might still be covered under warranty.

Had the same problem with a wheel falsely reading 58psi. Swapped this defective tire with another one to see if the problem moved. It did, which proved it was the pressure sensor in the defective wheel. Ordered an Acura TPS on Ebay (eBay My World: dch.acura.of.temecula) for about $45. Have a knowledgable tire place properly torque the new sensor on the wheel. The Acura TPMS will sense the new working sensor without needing the dealer for any programming.

Good Luck

Disposal fee for something that small .. I would have said " give it to me ... I'll dispose of it " then took it home and garbaged it.
