i got my tl bout 3 weeks ago felt the problem then but didnt really want to turn down this deal has a full warrenty on it so could miss out on it. but the problem when i got to step on it it goes but when it comes to shiftin it shifts hard. anyone know why this happens or what it is or had this problem before thanks for the help

 

Do a ATF 3x3 and replace your 3rd & 4th pressure switches. You WILL notice a huge difference in your shifts.

My 04 had a vibration from 2nd to 3rd gear and I did a 1x3 and that solved my problem.

Well go to a Honda dealer and pick up some of their Auto Trans fluid. Tell them it's for your Acura TL 04. Then do the 3X3 method as explained above and you WILL notice a gigantic difference. Night to day. Seriously. I thought the same until I did it. It'll cost you about $5/QT at Honda. IF you go to Acura you will be spending $7/QT. They are interchangeable. Pretty much the exact same fluid in different colored bottles. So you decide if you want to pay more for the same thing or not.
