TL-S not starting?

Well I have a pretty much stock TL-S only mods are HID fogs and led interior lights/license plate lights. I went to go start my car, put the key in the ignition and turn it. Nothing happens no lights or anything so I try to start it three more times and nothing. The engine doesn't even turn or even make a sound just absolutely nothing happens. So I pop the hood to see if someone stole my battery but everything is there. I went to start the car again put the key in the ignition the dash lights up and the car starts.

Now the weird part is I have to put in my Nav and Radio codes. Has this happened to anyone before and do you know what could have caused this?

probably has something to do with your terminals. you're still under warranty...take it in to the dealer.

Could be a bad battery.

A couple months ago, I drove 2 hours to a customer site, parked for an hour or so, then drove another hour to my kid's college, parked, then drove 3 hours back home.

A mile from home, I stopped to fill up the tank. Car would not start when I went to leave.

Dealer replaced the battery under warranty and said the battery had a bad cell.

^my car is parked for a majority of 6-10 hrs a day. But when I do go start it on a regular it starts. But on the day it didn't start was weird cause none of the dash lights came on when you put the key in the ignition.

I don't know what's going on but if it happens again I'm definitely gonna take it into the dealer. But who thinks I should take it in regardless it only happened one time?

Take it in and they will do a battery load test and check the system. Don't want to get stranded away from home some night. The battery can go at any time and with no advanced warning.

I can vouch for that.

Have it checked. BTW, I think AutoZone, etc will test the battery for free if the Dealer gives you any hassle.

Yeah, it was a loose battery terminal. It happened once or twice again, but the first time I checked the battery it didn't seem loose. Today, I went to start the car and it wouldn't start numerous times so I checked the battery. The negative terminal was almost practically off.
