Got a 05 tl always wanted so got right after i graduated
i want to fix it up with aspec mods but before i start with any mods im having problems with my left head light it flickrs and then turns off. i switch it on and off it turns back on but it flickrs again and turns off

anyone known wts wrong

 

sounds to me like you ballast is failing........if I were you I would pick up a used one off ebay or somewhere similar. Ballast usually are expected to last the life of the car so I'm surprised you're having trouble with it. A used one i will cost around $125.

 

+1, ballast or bulb failing.

To troubleshoot, take the bulb out of the other headlight and put it in the problem light. Turn lights on, then off. If it doesn't flicker, most likely your bulb, if it does, your ballast.

 

thks guys tht was realy helpful since i took it to the dealer they wanted too muc hmoney and they were saying something bout the power supply box needs to be changed (blast, if im right) and i tried all those ideas by changing bulbs it didnt work the bulb kept on flickring and a minute later it turned off

 

Go on ebay and you can probably find a used ballast for pretty cheap.
