Taillight

Hey guys, quick question: Should I buy an OME tail light or go with a JDM like this one?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Acura-TL-Type-S-Tail-Light-Tail-Lamp-RH-2007-2008-/281127898099?hash=item4174874bf3&vxp=mtr
My kid bumped my shovel that was mounted to the wall and it fell and cracked my right side taillight. My daughter was unscathed, thankfully.

Is this an exact replica?

Thanks in advance.

Scott

Isn't your question a matter of preference? if you buy that one, you'll have to buy both. OEM is obviously gonna match the other.

I bet if you get that one, you will be the only one that knows its not OE. I did that with my 4runner when my wife backed into our trashcans... and you can't tell the difference on the outside. The only difference I found was the craftsmanship was not as good where the electrical connections connect. You had to encourage the connector to turn and lock in place.....But it works/looks great. I vote save money.

Rear Taillight Taillamp RH Right Passenger Side for 07 08 Acura TL Type S | eBay
Thanks!

One last question, I know my car had been in a wreck before I bought it so I’m not even sure the one’s I’ve got are OEM. Do the OEM housings say “Stanley” anywhere on them? Seems like Stanley is makes all/most of Honda/Acura’s headlight and taillight assys. Thanks again!

I've heard the Eagle brand TL-S style lights are crap. Do some searching here on the Type-S lights. Many people put them on their non-type s tls since they look nice!

Make sure you get new gaskets otherwise moisture will get into your new lights when you have to swap the LED boards over from the old lights to the new one.
