Speaker noisy

Speaker noisy
Hi everyone, I have 05 TL base model.
The speakers works well without engine start.
Once engine starts, the all left (driver) side speakers makes noisy like 'zzzzzz', and also when the volume turns to 0, the noisy has gone.
So anyone has some ideas how to fix it?
Thanks very much!

It might be a ground loop, but that depends on the source. Are you playing a CD, using the AUX input, or listening to the radio? I suggest using a CD to test speakers because that removes the possibility of injecting noise through the antenna or the AUX cable. We can continue troubleshooting once we know what the audio source is.

The next step I think is to determine whether or not the problem is at the speaker or the signal between the head unit and speaker. First, I would isolate exactly which speakers are making the noise. If it is truly only the three speakers on the left side (Rear Deck, Front Door woofer, and dash tweeter), then I think it points more to a signal issue because it is unlikely that three speakers on the same side all have a defect at the same time. If it is only one of the three, I think this points to the speaker itself.
After you determine exactly which speaker is making the noise (or select the one making the most noise if multiple), I would inspect the speaker for physical damage. If there is an mechanical issue with the speaker itself, it could be apparent just by looking at it while it's playing music. You could also try swapping it with the speaker on the opposite side and see if the noise follows the speaker, or if it stays on the signal.
The fact that it only buzzes when the engine is running points to a signal issue as well as it only occurring on the left side. I would first rule out that the speaker is not the issue by troubleshooting it as described above. The next thing I would probably check is the amplifier. Troubleshooting this gets tricky though. First, inspect the connectors for corroded/damaged pins and the cable harness for any damage, particularly the grounding pins. Next, I would measure the resistance between the grounding pins and the chassis ensuring a good ground. Here you can find the wire colors and what they mean: https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...6&postcount=24
Edit: Engine whine in the speakers usually points to a high impedance connection on the ground of the amplifier, but then I think the whine would manifest itself on all of the speakers and not just one side.

Hi Vlad_Type_S,
Thanks for you suggestion. I probably go to check amplifier. Because when I turn all sound to right speakers, the left three still makes noisy. So I do not think it is issue about speakers.
I will check amplifier next and I will update you the issue.
Thanks again.

If it is a failing amplifier, the easiest way to fix it is to replace the amplifier. The cheapest way is, if you're really good at troubleshooting electronics, is to open it and determine what is failing by means of circuit analysis methods. That being said, the part number:

Here is the link from 3G garage left tweeter fix, lots of useful stuff in there: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/05-tl-left-tweeter-rattle-solved-3gtl-garage-f-133-a-568252/
