Something is leaking... Transmission?

Hi guys,

Today I swapped my winter tire to summer tires and found this at driver front wheel on my 05 AT with 175000km. Can someone direct me what it might be?

Last year, I changed the pressure switch, but never notice any leaks

Thank you

Did you try and take a look at what it is that's leaking? I know the pressure switch is located right there, maybe it's loose and fluid is coming out?

As I was mentioning on my thread I got a leak in that same exact place after doing the pressure switches. It's weird because it didn't look like it was coming from the pressure switches. I replaced the crush washers last time so I thought I could get away with reusing them. I went and changed them out though and that fixed it for me. Last year you didn't notice a leak but perhaps it was leaking for awhile without you knowing. In my case it was actually dripping to the ground.

love your sarcasm

I mean you can't just take a picture of it and post it on the forum, if something is leaking either get under the car and take a look, or take it to a shop. Does it smell like tranny fluid? it has a pretty strong smell...

You were damn right, it was my pressure switch that wasn't tight enough

Thank you

You're welcome. The very second I saw that picture, I had a feeling. It happened to me in Feb. That's exactly what it looked like and I asked the forum, got no answer.

I wiped it up and was hoping it was not coming from a seal or coming from up top. There is a component at the very bottom under a plastic cover (there is a thread about it, I forget what it does) and I was hoping it wasn't that either. It looks deceptive because it doesn't look like it's coming from the pressure switch. But with gravity and driving it seeps down lower and back. Glad it was an easy fix for you.
