So first and foremost I'd like to say I am new to the Acura community. I bought my first Honda/ Acura (2007 TL Type - S Auto) ever recently and it's a great car. Motor was replaced and only has roughly between 25k and 35k on it so it runs great. Unfortunately there is 277k on the body and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the problem I'm having but maybe y'all could help me figure this out. The car was completely stock when I bought, I put it on BC BR Series coilovers rode for 3 days to let them settle, third day I lowered the car. After i lowered the car I've had some bad shaking/ vibrating in the front end when accelerating. I've had a toe alignment done (havent found anyone around me that can do a full alignment on a lowered car yet) but yet the problem is still there. Note this problem only started when I lowered the car. Any ideas what my issue could be? Dont want to have to take to a dealership if it's not needed.
If you have to have the car lowered to that level, then perhaps replace the axles.
If you don't have to have the car at that level adjust up the settings, say 1/2 inch all around, and see if your 'bad shaking/ vibrating' lessens or disappears?
Keep doing the adjustment until you find joy and judge if that is an acceptable height for the look you want.
Maybe you won't have to spend the $$$$ on new axles.
I have the same problem in my camry I lower the car still one inch over the tire and shake 0 to 20 after that stop is always like that I change the four tie rod and axle and stil the problem started when I installed the coilovers
