Resetting Oil life indicator...omfg HALP!

How do you reset the Oil life indicator? I changed it about 600 miles ago and couldnt figure it out...I have nav but its not working right now (dvd player needs serviced)...right now its probably down to 20 or 10% oil life left, so if i can just reset the meter the message will stop popping up.

You're not going to tell OP Thomasv about the on-line owner's manuals available through the 3G Garage link?

hold the reset button on the steering wheel and hold it down. your trip will reset but still hold it for like 10 sec. then a message will pop up if u want to reset your oil life and jus hit select.

If OP got the TL used, he may not have it.

The oil reset uses a button under the MID on the instrument panel.

I have an '08 that I bought used and just did the first oil change. I looked in the manual and it explained exactly how to change the oil, but didn't mention anything about resetting the oil life. Thanks for the info. I, too, didn't hold the reset button down long enough.
