Replacing door seal

Anyone replaced the rubber seal around drivers side door opening; not the seal on the door itself. The one attached to the car...
If so, how hard is it? Any instructions out there?
Thanks

Well, I figured that. But how is it held in? Adhesive, or just a pressure fit?

The seal probably just has tiny little rubber tabs that kind of slip in and out of the metal with pressure. Literally pull out till they pop out, push in till they pop in.

I don't even think there are tabs. The gasket has a slit that slips over a metal protrusion. No glue or anything.

Does any one have a link to that part? I looked a several web sites but it is like finding a needle in a haystack. And the descriptions aren't that intuitive.
Thanks

6 and 9, 7 and 10?

And now that I think about it I believe they have like little christmas tree tabs that go into the metal, then the weatherstripping has little holes that need pulled over them. At least that's what I remember.

No, I mean the seal that attaches to the body of the car not on the door itself.
THanks

Hell I don't know. I couldn't find anything and I looked for 15 minutes.

Yea I noticed they were pricey. Possibly because they don't really sell a lot of them?

Why do you need one anyways? That kind of item I'd just find a crashed TL or head to a junkyard...

I bought a used 2005. The seal around the door opening is badly worn, even split in some areas. I noticed some wind noise from the door so I thought I would try replacing it.

I had the same problem, not that badly worn though. BTW, were you able to replace it?

Mine is worn too, even cracked/split apart. My jackets must be rubbing when I get in & exit the car.
