Please help! 192,000 miles

I just had my transmission rebuilt and out the shop. Two days later im driving on the freeway when my check engine light comes and my D light is blinking and my asv light( Sorry not sure if i put the right acronyms)
I managed to make it home, as i was making a u turn my car was feeling like it was in neutral but I managed to parallel park.
i then had it towed back to the shop, the mechanic tells me it a TCC Transmission clutch solenoid ( electrical)
but my question is, by be having it rebuilt all my parts should have been included
Is he trying to ripe me off?
i need Opinions?

Well...you need to take a look at your invoice on what was rebuilt/replaced. There are soooo many additional components that may not have been replaced during the rebuild. They may have just replaced the clutch packs, but not the solenoids.

Thank you for responding!....yes, the mechanic just explained that part. But i was assuming it was considered part of the transmission given that my check engine light came on for the TCC solenoid before and he said that wasn’t the issue, was told my transmission was bad so I decided to rebuilt
now the code popped up after i got it installed
I would’ve thought they would’ve at least inspected all components

Well, they should have inspected all the solenoids. Maybe it passed a bench test, but it does not work properly once they have pressure on it.

Solenoids can be expensive so maybe that's why did not replace them.
