i was racing my friend the other night and i a came up a lil close on someones ass so i slammed on my brakes....a lil ways down the road i noticed my chech engine light was on. So i went the autozone b/c they read you comp for free and they said it was my heater sesory unit?...and that the comp wouldnt let him turn the light off. Anyone know what this is?

not sure what the hearer senory unit is but if you look in the book it tells you how so turn the light of its a combination of the select and reset buttons

 

thats for the maintenancec light that comes on evcery 7000 miles

 

thanx guys but it was just an oxygen sensor and of course since i have aftermarket headers the dealer said my warranty was void...just to let you all know an 02 sensor cost like $150

 

was it the primary or secondary O2?

are you out of warranty?



in all honesty your dealer ripped you..

 

well my headers were made wrong so in order to put the 02 sensor in i shaved a fin off the oil pan....so the dealership said the wires got messed up on the 02sensor.....but i took the 02 sensor out at my friends shop and their was nothing wrong w/ the wires it just went bad...replaced it a week ago and have had no problems.

 

and i am in warranty 46k....100k warranty
