hello all... i am new here...here is da story: today my mom's 2000 3.2TL's check engine light was on... when she start the engine... the idle went down to 400-500 rpm... and it feels dying... then few sec later the Check engine light went on... and a min later, idle went back to normal...so i drove my car to my frd's shop... on the way to da shop, the TCS light went on.. and stays.... after i arrive da shop, they turn off da engine and turn on again... good idle, no more TCS light but engine light stays on.... so they pull da code out, it was 1,2,4,5 cyc misfire.... so he clear the cold and told me to see if it work fine again... if the light on again they have to check whats wrong... question is: 1. anyone knows what maybe worng or what is goin on? 2. is it gonna be big money? by the way i never use octan daz lower then 91... plese help... thanx

 

how many miles is on your mon's TL? maybe you need to replace the spark plug. can somebody confirm this

 

it's very low around 48000km.... not mile... i am in Canada
i thought i only need to replace my spark plug every 100000km isn't it right?

my moms 2000 tl had the check engine light b4 and the idle was very low b/c she put in mohawk gas....

i have 1999 with 45,000 miles and my #3 coil missfired and the acura dealer said to replace the coil..so i did and it works fine now $300.00 later.
