I have this persistent front driver side door or window rattle/flutter. In most cases it is ever so slight, often intermitent. I seem to notice it mostly when drivng down the highway and/or driving over bumpy roads. On 04/06/07 I took it to Vandergraff Acura in Arlington, TX. They performed S/B 07-006 which involved them applying EPT and wool felt tape to each side of drivers and passengers door panels. They also noted that Dynamat has been applied to the front inner and outer door skins which was causing some noise when rubbing door panel and made some type of adjustment. What is S/B 07-006? Despite this, my problem still persisted. On 04/12/07 I decided to go to anther dealership. This time to Goodson Acura in Irving, TX. Goodson applied EPT to the drivers side rear view mirror and upper door trim cover. On 04/18/07 back to Goodson which is now stating they aren't able to reproduce the rattle. Needless to say, I'm back to square one. Unfortunately, my factory warranty will expire within the next 600 miles and I would like to get this resolved within the factory warranty. I do have an extended warranty. Would this still be covered by the extended warranty. Any possible suggestions for a solution to this problem are greatly appreciated.

 

My TSX had a drivers door/B pillar rattle that they could not fix… 4th trip to dealer and Jesus (Jesse) found the rattle….turned out to be the plastic cups behind the inside door handles…put felt behind them and no more rattle…???

 

I am going through the exact same problem with my 04 Tl. Its been to the dealer 4 times. Still rattles. I am going to ask them look at these plastic cups behind the handle. Thanks. dap200
