P0389 after timing belt replacement
2004 TL 150,000 miles.
I replaced the timing belt due to age, replaced idler pully, water pump, and timing belt tensioner. All was good for one day. The next day I drove it and the check engine light was on as well as VSA light flashing. I pulled codes and it gave me P0389 Crank shaft position sensor B circuit intermittent. What would cause the code?

Don't tell me you unpluged the CSP sensor during replacement.

The connection is shown at the bottom left. If you unbolted this assembly / unplugged the connector, you dun goofed.

I have the same problem on my 2004 Acura MDX with that damn check engine light for P0389 after Timing Belt replacement
what did you do to fix that P0389 Problem on your Acura

Do a crank relearn with a high end scan tool. If your belt was past the service limit stretch, that code will pop up when it is replaced as the ECU is now having to retard the timing.

I got a p0389 too except it wasn't right after a timing belt replacement. A day after the code popped up, the car stalled and it appears that the belt might've broke. I too want to know because it could help me diagnose my problem.
