Is this normal - window liners failing

I have my 07 TL-S since Feb. I noticed today that both rear windows have streaks of sticker residue and dirt from top to bottom. The inside window liners seems to be fraying near the top and is coming off (the residue). Is this normal? Have you guys experienced this?

Yes I do, but the tint isn't thick or rough or anything like that.
My fronts are tinted too, not happening to the fronts.

Why does having tint matter? Does the moleskin pieces fail often?

Because if your windows are tinted than your installer probably installed mole skin for you.

Moleskin has a sticky back side like tape to attach.

I can see the moleskin in your picture. It looks like the adhesive side failed and is streaking the window. The moleskin looks like its getting pulled up.

FYI: Moleskin is typically installed when tinting windows to keep out dirt, internal door parts, or anything else that may come in contact with the inside of glass that would leave scratches on the tint.

..In case you were wondering what moleskin is and why it is there.
