Loss of power- Incorrect throttle position sensor reading?

On my 2008 TL, I’ve been noticing a loss of power when I’m starting off from a standstill along with maybe a misfire? (feels like it misses a couple of beats, not sure). No CELs yet have come on. I have a code reader that can also tell me certain things about my car. I went to check out the throttle position reading and it reads 14.9% at idle and at WOT it only shows 78.4%. Is this typical? What other reasons could the loss in power mean? Thanks for the help!

Sounds like a bad Throttle Position Sensor.
There are several threads about it, and it's a pretty common problem. It may not trigger a CEL until total failure.
