i have a "07 TL once in a while, the light on the "D" on the automatic transmission shuts off. a couple of seconds later the light is back on.
It does not happen very frequently but I noticed it a couple of times.
Does anyone have an idea???

 

I think that's telling you there is a transmission problem. A scan tool will tell
what problem the computer has stored.

Hi, so I went to the dealer they plugged up my car and out came the info... a sensor has to be changed between the 2nd and 3rd gear. its been 5 days and counting for them to get the sensor..

 

Went to the dealer replaced the sensor and ...smooth running again.

 

You should do the 3rd-4th sensor, as well.
