I have an 06 acura tl that didn't have a remote when I got it but I found them being sold for 30 dollars on Craigslist so I got it. The guy programmed it within a second. It locks/unlocks and does the trunk and alarm like it should. But when I try using the menu settings on the dashboard I get a message saying to link to a remote to change settings? Any help please.
