Programming Keyless Remote for less?

Hi,
I lost one of my wife's FOB remotes for the RDX 2015 and need to replace it. I was able to buy a replacement online for less than the dealer would charge. But now I need to get it programmed. Dealership wants $160!!!!!

Do you know any way to program is for less $?

Thank you very much

who ever does it needs the HDS(Honda Diagnostic System)

so, as long as you find some one with the HDS, you could probably get it done cheaper...

try another dealership then lie and say one will do it for less.

That's why they're called stealerships.
Ridiculous cost.

So much for cheaper online deal. With keys and remote fobs it's better to stick with dealers for precisely this reason. Good luck.

they are no doubt price gouging.

its as simple as hooking up the HDS and changing some parameters.

thus why i suggested pitting dealers against each other

check your local locksmiths, I remember one of our local locksmiths had an ad about programming your auto smart key for less than the dealership. a quick google search found this:
Automotive Smart Key Duplication & Programming from Pop-A-Lock®

so if they have this or something similar, they might be able to help.
