So I posted about this a while ago and since then havent really been able to find anything out... I have the 2 keys that the car orig came with but when I use #1 it messes with all my radio presets and my a/c and heater settings. Also, sometimes it doesnt work at all to unlock/lock the doors as well as wont pop open the trunk. It doesnt do it all the time, just sometimes. When I use #2, it works perfectly fine. Any ideas what could be causing this problem?

Try replacing the battery in the keyfob, that should fix it.

When you use keyfob 1, it is linked to its radio presets and heater settings
Same with keyfob 2, it has its own settings.

Your options are easy.

Either stick with one key, or set up the same radio presets for keyfob 1.

 

You can also get a new ( not OEM ) key fob off of ebay for 24.95 Shipped ( also comes with a transponder key . I did that and it works great, just doesn't have the memory settings like the OEM ones do. I assume the key works but I went to ACE to get them to program it for free and they bent the key while cutting it, so I'm not sure about that
