I wouldn't do the starter method with the '07/'08 "One Touch Start" feature.

If you've done this, I don't know what to tell you.

I had to use a 6' cast iron breaker bar to get mine and I bent it. It took several tries and all of my 200 lbs to get it...

Unless you have a high end 1/2" (preferably 3/4") air wrench, an air wrench won't work.

If you can't get it off, button everything up and drive to a shop with a good compressor and a 3/4" - 1" air wrench and have them pop it loose. Then retorque it and drive home. It should come off easy once you get back home.

Good luck! That bolt was a beeeyotch!!!

Crank pulley bolt

These guys on here mostly won't agree with this but regardless this works every time without breaking every breaker bar/ratchet in your garage.Do this first before removing any belts or motor support:
Take an acetiline torch (or find someone experenced that has one) heat the bolt head good & red, wait 2-3 minutes heat it again, make sure to heat the whole head back toward the pulley,(sometimes I have to heat it a third time) I then use my 1/2'' impact gun & spin it right out. I've done this at least 50 times over the years on Honda & Toyota products (cars & suvs), never ruined an oil seal, pulley, or a belt cover or caused any other problem.
To install the bolt when finished I warm the bolt to around 250-300* & put it back in with the same impact wrench, when the bolt cools it will be plenty tight as it gets shorter when it cools down, I've never had one to loosen up or any other problem & have changed customers TBs the second & third times.
I know of people not being able to loosen these bolt with 3/4" drive impact guns.
I also dont need the pulley "hold back" tool to get the bolt out.

I have used the starter method a couple times and seen mechanics do it as well.

It all depends on your air compressor and impact.

I use a nitrocat with 1100 ft/lbs in reverse and crank pulley bolts and axle nuts have never been a problem since.

Just my experience.

Yeah, but how much did you spend on that and the compressor that could drive it?
