Sqeaking sound when unlocking issue

I just noticed this weird sound when I tried to unlock the door after I shut off the engine. It is like a squeaking sound just on the front passenger side. Lock, sounds normal. Unlock, squeaks. Is something rubbing against something?

Also noticed there is like a gap between the rubber seals and lower front side windows and front windshield. I'm guessing it should be flush all the way across, but there is one small section where it raises away from the glass. I'm just worried rain would get in there and do some damage. Should I be concerned? The gap is big enough where I could probably stick in a Q-tip (minus the fluffy cotton top).

Thank you.

Are you getting this too?

My problem isn't really consistent. Some times it would make noise, some times it won't. I'm not sure if it's low temperature related.

Hey LoveMyTL-S, what did you edit in my first post? Did you fix my spelling errors? I just noticed I spelled Squeaking wrong in the title.

I don't have a squeak...but a squeal. No idea why, but the driver's side lock squeals from time to time when locking or unlocking.

Yeah, you know what, it might be a squeal. I guess something like if you ran a wet finger across a balloon or something. I just started getting it recently. It is not consistent though. Only happens sometimes. I feel like if I brought it into the dealership, they'll say there's nothing wrong with it.

Are you going to get it fixed or are you just going to live with it, Jackass?

I have a 07 Type-s with the same problem on my drivers side rear door. I just got the car like a week ago and its winter here so not to sure if it's the weather or something else. I think I will try to spray some WD40 in the latch and see what happens.

It's probably the lock actuator or the lock mechanism being moved by the actuator.

Live with it. It doesn't do it all the time and with my history at the dealership, it will never make the noise while there. I have heard a bunch of Dodge trucks make the same squeal on the power locks as well. No idea what it was....everyone always just lived with it.
