Front & back motor mount thread stripped

Ok so long story short
the threads that goes into the engine block is stripped badly.... what are some permanent fixes? I took it to a shop and they said it might be cheaper if I just get a whole engine than taking it to a machine shop...
What are some alternative that don't involve dropping the engine?

helicoil or timesert to fix the threads. Or you can have a mechanic retap the threads a size larger

If you are talking about the top of the mount where it goes into the engine side, the engine side is an aluminum bracket that's bolted to the block with 3 bolts. They can be removed independently of the block and changed out.
