Unhappy Driver side airbag leak near window...HELP!

Hello guys, I have a 2008 TL base model.

Over past few months, I've noticed water in the area of the photo(1st photo) driver's side.

I bought a snake/line cleaner from Amazon and cleaned out the hole (in sunroof). Water is draining out to the bottom(2nd photo)
of the car. I also did a test of taping (3rd photo) all around the sunroof and going thru a carwash/spraying with hose. The leak still accumulates and occurs.

What else could this be? Thanks for any advice.............

why don’t you pop off the a pillar cover to see what’s actually leaking?

thoiboi, are there any steps to doing that? I didn't want to mess anything up. Thanks

Use a flat head to pry off the small square and it should expose a bolt that you can remove

Or once it’s pried up , it rotates, i forget which one. Should be obvious once you pry it though

So I took the pillar off...Pretty easy as you described. I did disconnect the battery as well.

I can see the water stains (2 prominent areas) and above here I circled in RED. Can I use silicone/sealant on that area to seal it? Any suggestions?

My issue is exactly the same as what the guy had in the video. Sunroof drains cleaned out...Was focused on internal/pillar since that's where leak was.

I clear taped over that whole external area to test. No leaks after spraying down. Time to repair.
