Door pins again!!!!!!!

Hey guys my door pins are bad again! Why does this happen. It was raining really hard yesterday I woke up this morning and my dash shows my both passenger side doors open. What can I do to fix this? I'm under warranty. Should I take it to the dealer?

^cuz sometimes the dealership messes things up even more.

I have a warranty, but my car will never see the dealer.

Exactly! I hate taking my car to the dealer. Is there any fix to this maybe adjusting it? I know there's one wire that goes to them if I unplug it and plug it back in will that mess up anything else? And what might of caused this ?

The leak was in my fuse box. I took everything apart and there's no signs of water in there. My door pins always seem to go bad after I have an alarm system hooked up to. I have the st800 alarm system. And I had to hook up a a wire to every door pin wire. Idk if that's the problem tho. All the times that it has happened it's been raining. Yesterday it was only the back passenger door. I went to my car this morning and the passenger door was bad as well.

if it only started happening after your install, then thats your problem.

My install was about a month ago. Why would it happen now? I dont think any wires came lose cuz everything was soldered. And why would it happen the first time it rained hard in nj since the install? I know a lot of ppl who have door pins problems and there factory alarm goes off. And they dobt have any aftermarket alarm. I heard water gets in thru the windows sills and shorts them out.

^the battery was going bad.....

your problem happened after the install.
which would lead me to believe the install is causing your door pins to go bad

My door pins went bad before the installation once. And the Acura dealer fixed it. And it was also raining that day.

seeing that it happens when it rains seems like something in your install is shorting out
