Dent Removal Help Please in Northside of Chicago

My car was recently involved in a hit and run. The damage was done to my driver side passenger door and around the wheel well. I am very disappointed about it, but thank God the scratches came out. My only issue is that there is a dent just above the lower portion of the wheel well, just above the side skirt. It isn't very deep at all and some what noticeable. Has anyone had a dent in that area and had it repaired by a PDR (paintless dent removal) company without repainting the wheel well. I live in Chicago and if you can recommend anyone would be helpful to fix this. If you have any pictures of your car that had the same dent, please post the before and after shots.

Thanks

I've seen some of those methods such as dry ice and liquid CO2 from online videos - I'm just a little weary about one concern:

Will it damage the paint" - it's not the heat part I'm worried about such as applying the blow dryer to the dent first but it's the temperature change which remove the dent - since the metal and paint will contract at different rates, seems like it might hurt the paint.

Check

Check with your local dealer. Our dealer has a guy that comes in with all kinds of fancy tools in a golf bag and can work wonders on most dents if they are just buckles. Sometimes I wonder if he put them in at night so he can fix them the next day? BTW: no paint or other body shop methods used.

OP had the dent fixed already.

I bet the local dealer will charge you an arm and leg to get this kind of work done.

Cheaper

You just need to get the name and number of the guy doing the work.
Then by-pass the dealer!
We install tint for $400~$600
Just sent a friend and she got it direct for $200 (with a call from me).
Anything is a little more expensive at the dealer but then you have a place to take it back to if something should go wrong.
