CV axle question

I just had the axles replaced about a month ago and the passenger side started dumping grease 2 days ago. its pushing it out right around the lower ball joint. I don't see any tears in the boot and the clamp seems tight. any suggestions on why before i take it back to the mechanic.
sadly i purchased the parts (oem) from Acura Of Peoria and had the shop put it on so I am sure they will blame me some how.

any info would be great thanks

Is the axle aftermarket? If yes, there have been reports that the aftermarket seal on the axle is a tad to small and to use an OEM one.

It was oem part straight from Acura Of Peoria. I pulled it out of the box.

If grease is leaking, only a rip in the boot, or clamp is loose/moved during installation will cause the problem. Wipe down and clean with brake clean, then turn the axle to get a 360 degree view of the area.

just wanted to update and get an opinion. The shop cleaned it all off no rip in the boot and the clamp was pretty tight. they tightened the clamp one click. any way they said they have seen brand new oem boots push out grease if over filled or some other reason they gave. but they said it looked fine and I shouldn't worry about it. so do you agree that i should just let it go...

I have had the same issues with new axles. They had air trapped in the boot and forced some grease out within a few months of driving. After that the axles stopped doing that and they performed flawless for several years.

You should be okay with them.

Grease shouldn't come out of the boot seal(s) and sorry to say, that air is certainly inside the boot as it isn't vacuum sealed.

If they managed to tighten the clamp slightly, that should prevent any future leaks, but keep an eye on it.

If they managed to tighten it a bit more. Then to me it was loose to begin with.
