I have read the old post regarding chewing up of the knock sensor wiring.

Has anyone attempted to buy the 36 dollar part and do the repair themselves. If so was it difficult and how long did it take ? I am thinking of doing it myself, the stealership wants 700 in labor to fix it.

I have the same problem, since no one replied to your post, I'm assuming no one on here actually works on their own car.

 

FYI, apparently honda owners do work on theirs.
