Advise needed...

If my battery is not holding a charge for a day, what could be the problem. I changed the battery and the same issue happened. I went to get the battery and alternator checked and it checked out fine...What could be the problem???

 

Something could be draining your battery after you shut the car off. Check your current draw a few minutes after you shut the car off.

 

has your HFL been acting up?

I have had to replace the Alt on mine after 70K, my buddy just had his go out on his type s at 80K.

 

If your HFL is having issues, or not responding at all this could be your culprit. It's a known issue to constantly try to connect and drain batteries.

Yea, the HFL was the major cause of my battery draining prematurely also.

 

HFL was draining my battery too.

Look at the roof in the morning when there is dew or condensation on it.
If the roof is dry right over the rear view mirror area, this indicates heat from the HFL, which means that it is working when the car is off.
