Don't bother with it.

Mine was too difficult to loosen also, so filled through the dipstick.

I fabbed up a straw attached to a funnel.
Took maybe 10 minutes.

Many people use this method also.

Sears.com

i replaced it with with a new bolt and fill through the dipstick exactly like guitarplayer16

if you have a harbour freight near buy you can buy a strip bolt extractor also. If not that sears one is also good.

Holy hell what size MM socket did you use to try to remove that ATF fill bolt?

There is no possible way for you to round it off that badly if you used the correct size MM socket.

My ATF fill bolt is a bitch to remove every time but never once has my socket slipped to round it off at all.

It takes several extensions + breaker bar to remove it.

I forgot to place that o-ring that sits on the ATF bolt one time.
That was the last time I was able to get that bolt loose.
Its so seized in there that I broke a 3/8 ratchet attached to a breaker bar trying to get it loose.

I now use the dipstick tube to fill my atf.

Was it a good 6 point socket? I've wrestled this bolt on my brothers Pilot and finally did get it loose w/o damage but it has to be a good 6 point socket to do it. Not sure why Honda/Acura insist on so much flange surface area on the AT and MT fill plugs. Seems like overkill and makes it really hard to remove them. Same thing with rear diffs too on their AWD models. Real pain.

You sure do seem to be having more than your fair share if issues. Hopefully your luck will start to get better.

That should be no problem to remove with one of those stripped bolt extractors. In my experience they work very well, and you have plenty of access to hammer it on. You'd want to have a replacement bolt on hand so you don't need to put the trashed one back in.
