Another car won't start thread

What's up guys?

So I park my car outside of this wine shop to purchase some alcohol (parked by a hydrant) for the night. When I get back to my car, the shit won't start. I turned the key and nada..just a slight and very minimal "click". I had someone attempt to give me a jump and it still wouldn't start. I was able to park the car in a legitimate spot with the help of a few generous locals. Any idea of what I'm facing?

Dude, instead of starting another thread, I would have read through a few of the hundreds of threads on "my cart won't start".

Here's what you would have found as possibilities:

Loose cable connection
Battery (get it tested)
Starter
Ignition switch
Starter solenoid.

So I was able to start the car after giving the starter a jab. Took to the mechanic and they're ordering a new starter - $300 bucks.
